Jaws 'N' Paws

Well by now you know my name!  I have been an animal lover since I can remember...I grew up with so many!  I've had snakes, an iguana, dogs of all kinds and cats too.  I also worked at a vet when I was a senior in highschool.  That is when I realized that my ambition of going to college to be a veterinarian needed to be thought over some more because of all the bad things you have to go through :(  As a pet sitter I get to do all of the fun stuff...no abandoned animals, no euthanizations...I just get to be grandma and spoil them rotten while you are gone!  When I moved to Austin back in November, I was surprised to see how many pets there are here and how there are so many events and places that are geared towards pet owners.  New to Steiner Ranch I thought "What would it hurt to just put some flyers up and see if a pet sitter would be in high demand?"  Oh my gosh I had no idea how busy my summer would be!  I just started this as an "official" job back in April and I started it part-time while I worked at my insurance agency.  Well I am now FULL-TIME and I wouldn't have it any other way!  I have over 50 clients and the list keeps climbing...just when I thougt it would slow down in the fall, it has started to pick back up again for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I wonder if I'll ever find someone like me to watch my kiddos so I can go on vacation :))
